Description
Astroflame X Series CE Pipe Collars are purpose-built to seal wall and floor openings where plastic pipes pass through, helping to maintain fire resistance. Made using advanced graphite-based intumescent technology, these collars expand rapidly under heat, creating a high-pressure seal that stops fire and smoke from spreading.
Tested to EI120 and EI240 standards (EN 1366-3:2009), they’re suitable for pipe diameters up to 250mm. Thanks to their slimline design—just 30mm or 40mm deep—they’re perfect for tight installation spaces.
These collars can be used in flexible or rigid walls, concrete floors, and with Astro Batt systems. They’re compatible with a wide range of pipe materials including PVC, PE, PP, ABS, and SAN+PVC, and have been tested for various end-capping configurations (U/U, C/U, U/C, C/C).
Each collar features a strong mild steel shell with built-in intumescent material. When exposed to heat, it expands to seal the opening and prevent fire from moving through service penetrations.
Supplied fully assembled (fixings not included), the collars are installed by wrapping them around the pipe at the soffit, or on both faces of a wall, depending on your setup.

The Astro X Series CE Pipe Collar range is available in standard sizes, to suit 55, 82, 110 and 160 mm diameter pipes, and includes intermediate and larger sizes.
