Product Description

The DM‑8 is a 1U rack‑mount digital messaging unit designed for scheduled audio playback in commercial sound systems. Audio files are stored on a removable SD card and can be transferred via PC or Mac, or recorded directly onto the unit.

A single mic/line input allows live announcements or recordings, with override capability during SD playback. Up to 99 programmable schedules can be set to play specific audio files based on 24‑hour time and selected days of the week.

The DM‑8 integrates easily into any PA or sound system to provide automated announcements, background music or timed audio alerts.
