Description

The Astroflame AFIPW55X/CE 55mm Intumescent Pipe Wrap is a tested and certified fire stopping solution for sealing penetrations containing plastic pipes in walls and floors. Featuring a graphite-based intumescent material, this wrap expands under heat to seal openings and prevent fire and smoke spread.

The product has achieved EI120 fire resistance in accordance with EN 1366-3:2009, and is classified to EN 13501-2 standards. The AFIPW55X/CE is fully CE, UKCA, and UL-EU accredited, and compatible with PVC, PP, PE, and HDPE pipes.

It can be installed in rigid walls, flexible walls, rigid floors, and in conjunction with batt systems. The wrap’s slim and flexible profile ensures it fits even the tightest spaces, making it ideal for both new build and retrofit applications.
