C-TEC APXM XLR Microphone Plate – Balanced Mic Audio Input for Induction Loop Systems

The C-TEC APXM is a high-quality wall-mounted XLR microphone input plate, designed to accept balanced or unbalanced microphones with standard 3-pin XLR connectors. It’s part of C-TEC’s patented ‘Outreach Plate’ audio input extension system, making it an ideal solution for enhancing the audio input capabilities of induction loop or public address systems.

Perfectly compatible with C-TEC’s full range of PDA102, 200E, Pro-Range, and ML1 induction loop amplifiers, the APXM allows you to easily expand your system’s mic input options. For third-party audio or loop systems, it can also be connected using an APV 24V 250mA DC regulated power supply, ensuring wide applicability across various setups.

Outreach System Overview:

The Outreach Plate system is a versatile range of input modules including wall, ceiling, and desk-mount options. Each plate is engineered to mix multiple audio sources into a single, balanced line-level signal for delivery to a compatible amplifier. This modular approach simplifies installations and makes large-scale audio coverage more efficient and manageable.

Each plate requires:

• 2 Balanced Line Wires (Line/A+ and Line/A–)
• 1 Ground (GND)
• 1 Power Connection (V+ = 12–32V DC)

For systems without a dedicated Outreach input socket, connectivity is easily achieved via the APXO 3-pin XLR balanced output plate and APV power supply.
