Description
The C-TEC QT412RXA Rechargeable IR/RF Transmitter is a compact, dual-activation device designed for use in staff protection and emergency call systems, especially in high-risk environments. Compatible with both Quantec addressable systems and 800 Series conventional systems, this transmitter allows staff to instantly trigger Standard, Emergency, or Attack calls.
The QT412RXA offers flexible activation via two push buttons or a retaining clip that can be pulled for a rapid response. It transmits infrared (IR) signals up to 10m line-of-sight and supports RF (radio frequency) communication when paired with compatible Quantec radio receivers. Staff can clip the device to their uniform with the included karabiner for convenient access.
Rechargeable via QT424/1 or QT424/10 charging units, the transmitter is ideal for environments like hospitals, care homes, and mental health facilities. It can be programmed to send different levels of alerts and, when used on Quantec systems, assigned a unique user ID or name for traceability.
