Entry is a versatile door entry system that operates as a standalone solution or integrates seamlessly with Paxton’s Net2 and Paxton10 access control and video management systems. Combining robust door entry functionality with key features from our advanced access control software, Entry provides a comprehensive security solution for modern buildings. The standard panel features a sleek, industry-recognised anthracite grey finish (RAL7021) that perfectly complements the aesthetics of new builds and modern apartments. All Entry panels are IPX5 rated, ensuring reliable performance in all weather conditions.

Installation

• Plug & Play Connectivity:
  • Components interconnect effortlessly using Cat5 or standard RJ45 terminated patch cables.
  • Leverage existing network infrastructure for a simple, streamlined setup.
• Power Over Ethernet (PoE):
  • PoE technology runs both power and data through the same cable, eliminating the need for separate power supplies.
• Flexible Mounting Options:
  • The surface mount version installs directly on the wall, providing a fully exposed and protruding unit.
  • Multiple panels can be linked with an ACU for entrances with more than one panel.
• Enhanced Security Integration:
  • Option to integrate a secondary IP camera with the Entry system for extra security in areas with restricted visibility, with the flexibility to switch between cameras on the Entry Monitor.

Operation

• Visitor Interaction:
  • A visitor initiates a video call by pressing the bell button on the external panel.
• User-Friendly Access Management:
  • Grant access via the intuitive touchscreen Entry Monitor using the handset for private calls or in hands-free mode.
• Versatile Access Options:
  • When connected to Net2 or Paxton10, building access is controlled using a PIN, code, and/or proximity token (including MIFARE® and Paxton tokens).
  • Paxton10 users can also benefit from free Bluetooth Smart Credentials (requires Entry v2.22).
