Description

The Paxton 360-864SC Proximity Architectural Reader in satin chrome is a premium access control solution designed to complement high-end building interiors. Built with high-quality materials and finished in satin chrome, this reader combines aesthetics with robust functionality.

It features three high-intensity LEDs for clear status indication and is constructed from two parts: the main reader and a customizable insert. A glass insert is available, or alternative non-metal materials can be used with the supplied insert dimensions, offering limitless design possibilities to match the environment.

This reader supports HID 125kHz proximity tokens (with an activation card) and can be configured for Wiegand output if required. Please note that the architectural reader insert is sold separately.

Installation

The reader is designed to be partially recessed into the wall using the included backbox, ensuring a discreet and secure fit. It connects seamlessly with Net2 and Switch2 systems using the provided color-coded wiring for quick setup.

Operation

To operate, simply present a proximity token near the reader. The control unit checks the user’s access permissions and responds accordingly:

• Green LED – access granted
• Red LED – access denied
• White LED – standby mode

This makes it an elegant yet practical solution for controlled entry in offices, apartments, and commercial buildings.
