The Paxton 409-711SC CARDLOCK Reader – Satin Chrome is a reliable and stylish access control reader designed for use with Net2 and Switch2 systems. Its durable satin chrome finish makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, while its IPX7 rating ensures dependable performance even in external environments.

Installation – The reader is easily installed by wiring as indicated on the control unit label. The centrally exiting cable from the back of the reader simplifies drilling and mounting, ensuring an accurate and secure fit.

Operation – Users simply swipe their access card through the CARDLOCK reader. Once the card is read, the control unit checks the associated access permissions and grants or denies entry accordingly.

⚠️ Note: This reader is intended as an addition to, or replacement within, an existing standalone system. It is not possible to build a new standalone system with this reader, as Cardlock Starter Packs are no longer available.
