The Paxton 477-600 Net2Air Bridge uses Paxton’s Net2Air wireless technology to communicate with the Net2 software. Acting as the link between your PC and wireless control units such as the Paxlock Pro or Net2 Nano, it ensures reliable and secure communication. Since it connects through your site’s LAN, multiple Net2Air Bridges can be deployed across larger installations, giving flexibility in system design.

Installation

Installation is simple—just plug the unit into your LAN/WAN via a standard RJ45 connection, or connect it through a PoE injector or switch port. Once connected, run the Net2 server configuration program to register the bridge. The software will automatically detect and include it in the monitored ports list. Paxton recommends connecting up to 10 wireless control units per bridge for optimal performance.

Operation

Once installed, the Net2Air Bridge provides the wireless communication channel between the Net2 Nano control units and the PC running the Net2 software. This allows administrators to manage and monitor access control efficiently, while ensuring stable and uninterrupted communication across the site.
