The Paxton 521-836 Compact Keypad is a robust and reliable single door access control system with all electronics contained inside its durable metal housing. Designed for security and ease of use, this vandal resistant keypad is ideal for internal or external applications, offering an IPX7 rating for weatherproof performance.

Installation – The compact keypad connects easily with two wires for the lock, two for the power supply, and optional connections for an exit button if required. The cable exits centrally from the back, ensuring accurate drilling and mounting. All settings, codes, and programming are managed directly through the keypad using the master code. Its volt-free relay contacts allow direct control of gates, barriers, or other security devices without additional relays.

Operation – Users simply enter a valid code to gain access. Codes can be added or changed via the keypad using the master code, making management straightforward and secure. The backlit keys provide excellent visibility in low light environments, ensuring ease of use at all times.
