Description

About – The Paxton10 010-315 Single-Door Controller is a key building block of the Paxton10 access control system. Designed to manage a single door, it features distributed intelligence with no central point of failure, ensuring reliability and scalability. Housed in a compact plastic enclosure, the controller supports up to three Paxton10 Wireless Connectors for extended functionality and integrates seamlessly into existing TCP/IP networks.

Installation – The controller is powered via PoE+ or low-voltage supply, eliminating the need for a 230V connection at the door. It offers clear, colour-coded wiring labels for quick setup, supporting 12V lock outputs to control doors, barriers, or gates. Diagnostic LEDs provide real-time status feedback. The unit connects directly to a TCP/IP network and appears automatically in the Paxton10 software.

Operation – Once installed, the controller communicates instantly with Paxton10 software, applying access changes immediately. When users present tokens, the unit authenticates and grants or denies access accordingly. It includes four inputs (tamper, 230V fail, door contact, RTE) and can integrate with intruder alarms using a Paxton10 Alarm Connector.
