The Notifier FDM-1 Dual Monitor Module is a compact, addressable input device designed to monitor two independent Class B initiating device circuits (IDCs) within intelligent, two-wire fire alarm and security systems. Each IDC is assigned its own consecutive SLC address, allowing the FDM-1 to supervise two separate inputs such as manual call points, supervisory contacts, or security switches using a single module footprint.

This dual monitor module simplifies system expansion and reduces installation cost by combining two circuits into one device, while maintaining full compatibility with Notifier intelligent fire alarm control panels. The unit supports normally open fire alarm and supervisory devices, as well as both normally open and normally closed security devices.

With SEMS screws and clamping plates for secure wiring, LED indicators for status visibility, and direct rotary address setting from 01–159, the FDM-1 ensures fast setup and reliable operation. The built-in type identification feature also enables automatic detection by the control panel.
