Description

The Paxton 353-467 Net2 Proximity MIFARE® P50 Reader is a compact and versatile access control reader designed for use with Net2 systems. With multi-format capability, it supports Paxton Net2 tokens, MIFARE® Classic ISO 14443A tokens, EM4100 tokens, and HID 125kHz proximity tokens (when licensed with an activation card).

Featuring a low-profile design at less than 16mm deep, the P50 reader is ideal for discreet installations while maintaining powerful performance. The central rear cable exit allows for precise drilling and mounting, ensuring a professional finish.

The reader comes with a black fascia as standard, with optional replacement fascias in black, white, or grey available via the Paxton Portal.

Installation is straightforward, following the control unit wiring diagram. To maintain performance, the reader should not be installed on metal surfaces or placed near other proximity readers.

In operation, the reader quickly authenticates tokens presented within close range. If access is granted, the green LED flashes; if denied, the red LED flashes, providing clear visual feedback to users.

For added flexibility, the P50 MIFARE® reader can be licensed to enable Wiegand output using a separate activation card, making it suitable for a wider range of integration scenarios.
