Product Details for Apollo Discovery Open-Area Sounder Visual Indicator (Red) (58000-005APO)
The Discovery Open-Area Sounder Visual Indicator makes full use of the Discovery protocol and has been designed for use in indoor and open areas. When the fire system is being commissioned a ‘Magnetic Wand’ can be used to adjust and test each sounder locally.
Application
The Discovery Open-Area Sounder Visual Indicator is used to provide audible and visual warning of fire and is controlled by the fire control panel by means of the Discovery or CoreProtocol.
The particular features of this sounder Visual Indicator are available when it is being controlled by the full Discovery or CoreProtocol with the fire control panel programmed accordingly. Information on available features should be requested from the panel manufacturer.
These are identical to the Discovery Sounder Visual Indicator Base but the Open-Area Sounder Visual Indicator is a wall-mounted stand-alone device that produces a higher sound output of up to 100dB(A).
