Astroflame FlexiFire Intumescent Ironmongery Self-Adhesive Sheet

The Astroflame FlexiFire Intumescent Sheet (AFFLEXISH300/SA) is an ultra-thin,
graphite-based intumescent material designed to protect rebated ironmongery in fire-rated
doorsets. Supplied in a convenient 300mm x 200mm self-adhesive sheet, it provides
high expansion and insulation performance while maintaining the integrity of the fire door assembly.

High-Performance Ironmongery Protection

Astro FlexiFire activates at approximately 180°C, where intercalated graphite
particles expand significantly to fill gaps and voids. This multi-directional expansion
creates pressure and insulation, preventing heat transfer through rebated hardware such as
hinges, locks, and latches.

At just 0.8mm thickness, minimal rebating is required, making it ideal for
maintaining door strength and structural integrity.
