Description
The Astro X Series AFIPW125X/CE Pipe Wrap is a high-performance, intumescent firestop wrap designed to maintain the integrity of fire-rated walls and floors penetrated by plastic pipes (PVC, PP, HDPE, PE). Certified with CE, UKCA, and UL-EU markings, this wrap provides EI120 fire resistance as per EN 1366-3:2009.
Using graphite-based intumescent technology, the pipe wrap expands under high temperatures, forming a pressure seal that effectively closes off pipe openings and prevents the passage of smoke and fire. The ultra-thin design allows for easy installation even in restricted or confined spaces.
The AFIPW125X/CE model is suitable for 125mm diameter pipes and is compatible with various construction types, including rigid walls/floors, flexible partitions, and batt systems.
