Description
The Astro X Series AFIPW160X/CE Pipe Wrap is a CE and UKCA marked passive fire protection product designed to reinstate fire resistance where PVC, PP, PE, or HDPE pipes penetrate walls or floors. Independently fire tested to EN 1366-3:2009, this 160mm pipe wrap delivers up to EI120 fire resistance.
Constructed using graphite-based intumescent technology, the wrap expands under heat to seal pipe penetrations, preventing the spread of fire and smoke. Its ultra-slim profile allows installation in tight spaces and is compatible with flexible walls, rigid walls, rigid floors, and batt systems.
The wrap is easy to fit around pipes and is encased in a durable PVC sleeve for ease of handling and reliability in fire conditions. Astro X Series pipe wraps are available in multiple diameters, with the AFIPW160X/CE variant suited for 160mm diameter pipes.
