Designed as a direct upgrade to the FSP-851 Series, this detector is engineered to detect smoke from a wide range of combustion sources in compliance with the latest code standards.

This low-profile detector features a highly responsive optical sensing chamber and is compatible with both FlashScan® and CLIP communication protocols. It uses a two-wire connection to the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC), occupying one address on the system and continuously communicating with the fire alarm control panel to report its type, status, and sensitivity.

The FSP-951-BP can be programmed for specific sensitivity levels, which are automatically monitored by the system. Addressing is made simple through rotary decimal switches, enabling precise location tracking for service and maintenance. It also includes visual status LEDs that blink when polled and remain steady during alarms.
