Description

The Notifier HS-NCM-MF High-Speed Network Communications Module provides reliable, high-speed fiber-optic connectivity for NOTIFIER fire alarm systems using the NOTI•FIRE•NET (NFN) platform. Designed for use with NFS-320, NFS-640, NFS2-640, NFS-3030, NFS2-3030 control panels, NCA/NCA-2 Network Control Annunciators, and the DVC Digital Voice Command, the HS-NCM-MF ensures robust data transmission across large-scale fire safety networks.

Supporting multi-mode and single-mode fiber, the HS-NCM-MF offers a baud transmission rate of 100 Mbps and features complete optical isolation for superior noise immunity and elimination of ground loop issues. Each module can support up to two network node addresses, allowing it to serve both a control panel and an annunciator simultaneously.

When not connected to a panel, the HS-NCM-MF enters repeater mode, extending network distances and acting as a bridge between segments with different media types (e.g., copper and fiber).
