The Notifier HS-NCM-MFSF is a high-performance High-Speed Network Communications Module designed for reliable communication across NOTIFIER’s NOTI•FIRE•NET (NFN). This module supports both fiber-optic (multimode/single-mode) and twisted-pair wire, making it a flexible solution for a wide range of fire alarm networking scenarios.
Fully compatible with panels such as NFS-320, NFS-640, NFS2-640, NFS-3030, and NFS2-3030, and network annunciators like NCA, NCA-2, and DVC, the HS-NCM-MFSF provides seamless high-speed data transmission across large and complex systems. It allows for up to two node addresses per module, reducing hardware needs while expanding system reach.
In situations where the module is not directly connected to a fire alarm control panel, it enters repeater mode, helping to boost signal distances and bridge communication between mixed media segments (wire and fiber). This ensures smooth and continuous network communication in hybrid infrastructure setups.
