Description
The Notifier SCS-8L Smoke Control Lamp Driver is engineered to provide real-time status display for up to eight air handling unit (AHU) fans or dampers. Compatible with Notifier’s fire alarm control panels and annunciators like the NCA/NCA-2 or INA, the SCS-8L delivers critical feedback through green, amber, and red LED indicators in both HVAC and Firefighter’s Smoke Control Station (FSCS) modes.
This panel communicates via a reliable two-wire EIA-485 serial interface using the ACS bus protocol, and is addressable via rotary switches. Unlike the standard SCS-8, the SCS-8L is a lamp driver version, allowing integration of external three-position switches and status LEDs for each zone.
With custom slide-in labelling, integrated smoke control active indication, and reset input, the SCS-8L offers advanced monitoring and flexibility in smoke control systems.
