The Paxton 166-110 Net2 Reader Cable – 10 Core, Halogen Free, 100m Reel is a high-quality cable designed for extending the connection between Paxton Net2 readers or keypads and door controllers. Supplied in a convenient 100m reel, this shielded 10-core cable provides reliable performance with flexible cores for easy installation.

Being halogen-free, it complies with CPR fire certification standards, ensuring reduced smoke and toxic gas emissions in the event of a fire. Many installation issues with access control readers occur due to the wrong cable type—using the Paxton-recommended 166-110 reader cable ensures optimal reliability and compatibility.

Installation

• Maximum cable length between reader and door controller: 100m.
• If extending beyond 25m, double the 12V and 0V wires to minimize voltage drop.
• Connect the shield to the 0V terminal of the controller.
• Only suitable for indoor use.
• Designed for Net2 card readers and keypads (not suitable for Paxton10).

Operation
