The Paxton 355-110 Proximity Keypad (KP50) combines a keypad and proximity reader in one unit, delivering enhanced security through card plus PIN (or code) authentication. Designed for use with Paxton Net2 and Switch2 access control systems, it is a compact and reliable solution for modern security installations.

With a slim profile of under 16mm, the KP50 provides a discreet yet durable option that fits seamlessly into interior environments. Supplied with a black bezel (with optional black or white/grey replacements available free to Paxton registered installers), it offers flexibility for matching interior aesthetics.

Installation is straightforward, with the reader wired as indicated on the control unit label. Its central cable exit ensures accurate drilling and positioning. To achieve optimal read range, the reader should not be mounted on metal surfaces or near other proximity devices.

In operation, users simply present their proximity token. If the system is configured for additional security, the associated PIN code is entered via the keypad. The control unit then grants or denies access, with LED feedback – green for access granted, red for denied.
