Description

About – Net2 Plus is a powerful single door networkable access control unit that provides central control, event reporting, and flexible management of user access. It connects directly to a TCP/IP Ethernet network using a standard RJ45 plug and includes a built-in TCP/IP converter for simplified installation. The unit also supports RS485 daisy chaining for connecting additional Net2 Plus or Net2 Classic control units without requiring a separate converter. Available as PCB only or supplied in metal/plastic cabinets with or without PSU, including PoE options.

Installation – The Net2 Plus controller features colour-coded terminal connections for quick wiring of readers, locks, exit buttons, and alarm devices. It plugs directly into an existing LAN with a static IP address, and configuration is managed through the Net2 Configuration Utility. Diagnostic LEDs simplify troubleshooting, and built-in end-of-line resistors remove the need for external components.

Operation – Once configured, the controller stores all changes from the PC instantly. When a user presents their token, the unit verifies permissions and grants or denies access. The controller can switch any lock or electrical device and ensures reliable standalone operation even if the network connection is temporarily lost.
