It also delivers full single-door control functionality with additional I/O for broader security applications.

The Paxton10 Video Controller performs both as a video processor and as a door controller, offering scalability and flexibility within a unified access and security system. Featuring distributed intelligence architecture, it removes any single point of failure, ensuring maximum reliability. The unit also supports cascading of up to three Paxton10 Wireless Connectors for added connectivity and control.
Installation
The controller features a clearly labelled wiring guide with colour-coded connections for readers, power supply, and door locks. Its 12V output allows seamless control of doors, barriers, or gates, while diagnostic LEDs provide quick status updates for inputs and outputs. Installation is straightforward: controllers connect directly via TCP/IP and are automatically detected in the Paxton10 software for fast setup.
Operation
Once installed, all system changes made in the Paxton10 software are instantly communicated to the controller. When a user presents a token, the unit validates credentials in real time and either grants or denies access. Video storage and monitoring run alongside door control, providing an integrated, efficient security solution.
