The Paxton10 010-751 Single-Door Controller with 12V 2A PSU is a powerful and reliable building block for Paxton10 access control systems. Designed to manage a single door, this unit also provides additional inputs and outputs for general use, making it a versatile choice for advanced security setups. Each controller supports up to three Paxton10 Wireless Connectors and can be integrated into a system with up to 1000 controllers, offering excellent scalability for growing sites.

About –
The Paxton10 Door Controller communicates over TCP/IP and integrates seamlessly into an existing network infrastructure. It comes equipped with four inputs (tamper, 230V fail, door contact, and RTE), two reader inputs for read in/read out control, and distributed intelligence architecture, ensuring there is no central point of failure. For enhanced security, the controller supports integration with intruder alarms via the Paxton10 Alarm Connector (010-203). Options are also available for PoE and PCB-only variants with or without plastic enclosures.

Installation –
The controller’s wiring label clearly displays colour-coded connections for quick and straightforward setup of readers, power supplies, locks, and other components. A 12V output is available to control doors, barriers, or gates. Diagnostic LEDs provide real-time status feedback for the controller and connected devices, helping ensure smooth installation. The controller connects directly to the network via TCP/IP and is automatically visible in the Paxton10 software under the devices menu.

Operation –
Once installed, the controller operates seamlessly with the Paxton10 software. Any updates or configuration changes made in the software are instantly communicated to the controller. When a user presents their token, the controller verifies access permissions and either grants or denies entry accordingly. This ensures real-time access control with maximum reliability and security.
