Description
The Silent Knight 5104B is a powerful six-zone fire alarm communicator designed for both standalone fire detection systems and as a Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT) add-on to existing panels. Compatible with standard telephone lines, it eliminates the need for expensive leased lines and provides reliable reporting to a central monitoring station.
Fully UL 864 and NFPA 72 compliant, the 5104B is ideal for applications where fire detection is required but a full alarm system isn’t mandated—such as warehouse sprinkler supervision or after-hours property protection in smaller commercial buildings. It can monitor sprinkler system waterflow, gate valve tamper, and various contact-based fire/safety signals, transmitting unique codes for alarm, trouble, and restoration events across six fully supervised inputs (1 Class A and 5 Class B zones).
The communicator includes built-in supervision for AC power, battery backup, zone input status, and dual phone lines. If one line fails, the 5104B automatically switches to the other to maintain connectivity. Optional remote configuration and programmable outputs further enhance system flexibility.
