The Simplex 4098-9714 TrueAlarm Photoelectric Smoke Detector is engineered for high-performance smoke detection in commercial and institutional fire alarm systems. Utilizing a pulsed infrared LED light source and a silicon photodiode receiver, this sensor delivers stable, low-power smoke detection with accurate response to varying smoke conditions.

Its innovative design allows for 360° smoke entry, ensuring optimal sensitivity to smoke regardless of direction. The unit supports seven programmable sensitivity levels ranging from 0.2% to 3.7% per foot of smoke obscuration, which are selected and monitored directly through the compatible fire alarm control panel.
