Description
The Astro X Series AFIPW140X/CE Pipe Wrap is a CE, UKCA, and UL-EU marked intumescent firestop solution designed to maintain the fire resistance of walls and floors penetrated by PVC, PP, PE, or HDPE plastic pipes. Tested to EN 1366-3:2009, it provides up to EI120 fire protection for service penetrations.
Manufactured with graphite-based intumescent materials, the pipe wrap rapidly expands in the presence of heat, closing off the pipe opening and preventing the spread of fire and smoke. Its ultra-slim profile allows installation even in tight service voids and is suitable for use in flexible walls, rigid walls, rigid floors, and batt systems.
The AFIPW140X/CE variant is engineered to fit 140mm diameter pipes, providing an effective and compliant seal that restores compartmentation integrity in fire-rated constructions.
