Description

Astroflame AFFRECFOAM is a high-performance fire-rated expanding PU foam supplied in a 750ml pressurised aerosol. It is part of the Soudal Fire Range, designed for sealing joints and service penetrations in fire-rated constructions. This single-component polyurethane foam is self-expanding and formulated with CFC- and HCFC-free propellants, ensuring environmental safety and consistent performance thanks to the built-in Duravalve system.

It provides strong thermal and acoustic insulation, excellent adhesion to most surfaces (excluding PE, PP, and PTFE), and high gap-filling capacity. Ideal for internal use in fire doors, wall penetrations, and ceiling joints.

Application Method:

1. Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least 20 seconds.
2. Attach to a foam gun using the threaded adapter.
3. Clean and moisten surfaces before application.
4. Fill gaps up to 65% capacity to allow for foam expansion.
5. Repeat shaking during use for consistent output.
6. Re-moisten between foam layers if working in stages.
7. Clean uncured foam with Soudal Gun & Foamcleaner or acetone.
8. Remove cured foam mechanically or with PU remover.

Temperature Guidelines:

• Can temp: +5°C to +30°C
• Surface temp: +5°C to +35°C
• Ambient temp: +5°C to +30°C
