C-TEC C4408R ActiV Relay Base for Conventional Fire Detectors

The C-TEC C4408R ActiV Relay Base is a detector base designed for use with the full range of C-TEC ActiV conventional fire detectors. Engineered for reliable performance and ease of installation, this base provides a practical solution for fire detection systems where relay functionality is required.

Designed primarily for ceiling-mounted installations, the C4408R offers flexible installation thanks to the 360° LED viewing angle provided by ActiV detectors, allowing it to be mounted in any orientation while maintaining clear visual indication. It features a simple ‘click and twist’ fitting mechanism, making installation quick and straightforward.

The base includes an integrated detector locking mechanism, head removal tool, and ID tag to assist with maintenance and device identification. Remote LED terminals are also provided, allowing connection to an optional BF318 remote indicator when required. The device is third-party certified to the relevant parts of EN54 when used with C-TEC ActiV detectors.
