The AICO Ei146RC Optical Smoke Alarm is a reliable, mains-powered fire detection unit designed to protect homes and commercial buildings from the risk of smouldering fires. Featuring a proven optical smoke sensor, this alarm is ideal for detecting slow-burning fires caused by upholstery or electrical faults—making it perfect for use in hallways, landings, living rooms, and dining areas.
For added security, the Ei146RC includes a 9V alkaline battery backup, ensuring the alarm continues to operate even during power outages. The unit is supplied with an Easi-fit base to simplify installation and ensure a secure connection to mains power.
Part of the 140RC Series, the Ei146RC supports both hard-wired and wireless interconnection via AICO’s RadioLINK technology, enabling it to be linked with other alarms and accessories for full-property coverage with minimal disruption during installation.
