The Cranford Controls RIU-02 Remote Indication Unit (Model 502-003) is a compact, high-visibility device designed to provide remote status indication of one or more fire detectors in alarm state. It features a wide-angle LED with high on/off contrast for easy identification, even in low-light environments.

Model 502-003 is compatible with most conventional and addressable fire alarm systems, making it ideal for use in commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, and any environment where detectors may be concealed or hard to access. The unit comes with the legend ‘Fire Detector Operated’, clearly indicating alarm activation.

This version is designed for flush mounting into a standard single gang deep back box, though surface mount versions with back box are also available. Alternative text and custom legends can be supplied on request, and an IP66-rated weatherproof version is also offered for outdoor or industrial use.
