The NOTIFIER FPTI-951 Multi-Criteria Detector is a state-of-the-art, addressable fire detection solution designed to deliver reliable performance while significantly reducing false alarms. Replacing the legacy FAPT-851 Series, this detector combines photoelectric, thermal (135°F fixed and rate-of-rise), and infrared (IR) sensing technologies into a single unit, making it highly effective at distinguishing between real fire threats and non-hazardous environmental changes.
By integrating three sensor types with intelligent algorithms, the FPTI-951 enhances detection accuracy and speed while remaining highly resistant to nuisance sources such as dust, steam, or theatrical smoke. This makes it an ideal solution for environments like commercial buildings, entertainment venues, or multi-tenant spaces where false alarms can be disruptive or costly.
The detector supports FlashScan® and CLIP protocols, features rotary decimal addressing, and offers dual LED indicators for 360° visibility.
