Description
The NOTIFIER FST-851 is an intelligent, addressable fixed-temperature thermal detector designed for precise, cost-effective heat detection in commercial fire alarm systems. Featuring point ID capability via rotary decimal address switches, it enables exact location identification for rapid response by emergency personnel.
Engineered with a thermistor sensing circuit, the FST-851 offers fast response to fixed heat thresholds, specifically 135°F (57°C). It is ideal for environments where smoke detection is not practical due to dust, steam, or other particulates.
Part of the trusted FST-851 Series, this model provides open-area coverage with 50-foot spacing, compliant with UL 521. It is compatible with NOTIFIER FlashScan® and CLIP fire alarm control panels, offering versatile integration across various system types.
