Description
The Notifier FCM-1-REL Releasing Control Module is a high-performance addressable module engineered for use in fire suppression systems that require precise and reliable solenoid activation. It features a redundant activation protocol, ensuring that a pair of signals must arm the module before release, with a built-in 3-second confirmation window to enhance safety and system integrity.
Designed for Class A or Class B operation, the FCM-1-REL supports one 24V solenoid or up to two 12V solenoids connected in series. It supervises wiring conditions and reports status—normal, open, or short circuit—directly to the fire alarm control panel. The module includes panel-controlled LED indicators, low standby current, and rotary address switches for easy setup.
Fully compatible with NOTIFIER intelligent systems using FlashScan protocol, the FCM-1-REL mounts easily in a standard 4-inch electrical box and provides fault-tolerant wiring options for critical fire suppression applications.
